I’m quite glad I picked up the reading habit again and have been able to continue it on a daily basis. My pace has picked up as well and I’ve been able to get through quite a few books recently, but as always I’m reading more than one book at a time.
Happy Birthday! And Other Stories by Meghna Pant
This is a powerful collection of short stories that helped ease me back into more regular reading. I’ve had this on my TBR for a while and had dipped into it at random but I’d never read the whole thing in one go.
I’m about a quarter through this book which I won in a giveaway. Its a well-done travel memoir that I’m enjoying more than I expected to. I haven’t traveled as much as the author but now I can live through her exploits and adventures vicariously.
A fantastic best-selling novel that I’ve come quite late to. The premise – what would happen if women ruled the world? And is it much better than if men rule? The perfect novel for fans of books like The Handmaiden’s Tale.
I bought this on a whim as it was a free download on the day, and it’s proved extremely informative so far. If you’re planning to become a self-published author or even considering the option, then you should check out this book.
What have you been reading lately? Any books you would like to recommend? Let me know in the comments!
Thanks for sharing Let’s get Digital Gargi and just downloaded it for free. I am sure will love reading and learning about this world called Digital. Right now, I am reading Purba Chakraborty’s first book Walking in the Streets of Love and Destiny. Finally finished Romila Thapar’s A History of India. So many ebooks waiting for me the new convert 🙂

Sounds awesome! Quite brave if you to tackle and finish a heavy history book! I’m still on lighter reads and plan to pick up something more challenging later on

I sort of slipped out of my regular reading habit too. Trying to get back into it now. The Power sounds like an intriguing read.
