  2. Software engineer by day, writer by night! Abha… abha what a woman of substance! And that’s in Modi’s India!!
I really appreciate, admire, and wish you all the stars in heaven. Nevertheless I wonder: what r u doing between day and night? No eating, drinking, sleeping and dreaming? Can u write a story of what went on brain between the split second of day and night?

  3. Thanks for your appreciative comment on a recently published short story of mine that I had shared on my blog! I, too, really enjoyed reading some of your published work. ‘The Beauty’ immediately grabs the reader’s attention and holds it to the end. ‘Singapore City’ contained such a witty analogy and ‘First Love’ gave a good punch at the end πŸ™‚
Also, from your ‘About’ section, I was heartened to find a kindred spirit – a software engineer and a writer!! And are you also a mother? (Since you have mentioned something about a toddler). That got me excited as well since I am soon going to become one and often wonder how I’d balance my day-job, writing and a kid. Coming across your profile is comforting, no doubt.
Writing is such a solitary activity that when one writer comes across another and finds some similarities, one feels less lonely πŸ™‚ Here’s wishing you all the best in your future endeavors!

    1. Thank you for dropping in and reading my work! My toddler’s all grown up now – she’s seven years old! Don’t worry about writing with a kid around. When they’re small you write what you can, but later you can catch up. It does require discipline and scheduling, but it can definitely be managed.
